Moving schedules are determined after Zip Moving & Storage services are booked. Our moving coordinators will notify you of the moving date and time, plus all of the details regarding your upcoming move.
Moving Day
On moving day, the moving coordinators will dispatch the moving team and you will be informed of their estimated time of arrival. Moving coordinators act as the liaison between you and the movers and are available to answer any questions you may have along the way. Once the moving team packs and loads your belongings, the team secures the truck and heads to your new home
After packing and loading the truck is complete, your moving coordinator can provide you with an estimated delivery date.
Awaiting the Shipment
Receiving your belongings at your new home is an exciting time! Your moving coordinator is available to provide details regarding the estimated time of arrival of your shipment.
You will be notified when the moving truck is estimated to be 48 hours away from the destination.
The moving coordinator will then notify you when the moving truck is 30 minutes away from the destination, so you are ready and available to receive the truck.
Track the Moving Truck with an App
The Track Your Move™ tool allows customers to locate their belongings at any given time.
Occasionally, unexpected circumstances occur on the road and a shipment is delayed. It is possible, for example, that movers will encounter inclement weather while in transit. Zip Moving & Storage treats customer cargo with the utmost care. Trucks will slow down or stop, if necessary, to avoid damaging belongings and deliver your shipment safe and sound. If a transit faces a long delay, a representative will work with you to coordinate new plans.
The experts at Zip Moving & Storage aim to constantly keep movers and clients on the same page. Do not hesitate to contact your moving coordinator for updates on the delivery of your shipment.
